abstract | PURPOSE:To simplify the replacement of an ion selective film and to prevent the production of residual air bubbles, by a method wherein a part, where a conductive material makes contact with the ion selective film, is prepared into a gelled conductive material. CONSTITUTION:An internal reference electrode 12, consisting of silver-silver chloride, is supported in a conductive material 14 by means of a partition wall 13 located in an electrode receptacle 11, and a lead wire 17 leads the electrode to the outside. An ion selective film 15 is adhered to the bottom of the receptacle 11, and a gelled conductive material 16, which is prepared such that an agar powder is dissolved in, for example, heated NaCl water solution, and is cooled, is placed between the conductive material 14 and the ion selective film 15. When the ion selective film 15 is replaced for adhering a new one thereto, this prevents the film 15 from getting wet with the water solution which is of the conductive material 14. |
