abstract PURPOSE: To provide the titled comosn. having excellent electrical properties and chemical properties, consisting of a thermoplastic polyester, a glass fiber, a specified flame retardance-imparting agent and a silica powder. n CONSTITUTION: 5W120pts.wt. Glass fiber (B) having a length of 0.3W1.2cm, 1W50pts.wt, flame retardance-imparting agent (C) and 5W120 pts.wt. silica powder (D) are blended with 100pts.wt. thermoplastic polyester (A) having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.5 or above, said flame retardance-imparting agent (C) consisting of a compd. (a) having carbonate unit of formula I (wherein R 1 , R 2 are each H, a 1W5C alkyl or form a 5W12C cycloalkane when R 1 and R 2 are combined together; l, m are each 1W4; n is 2 or greater), a brominated epoxy compd. (b) of formula II (wherein k is a number of an average polymn. drgree of 0 or at least 1) and an Sb compd.
