NEW MATERIAL:A 2-phenylpropyl ether derivative expressed by formula I (R is methyl or ethyl; R' is halogen or lower alkyl; n is 1 or 2). n EXAMPLE: 3-Phenoxylbenzyl 2-(4-methylphenyl)2-methylpropyl ether. n USE: A relatively inexpensive insecticide and miticide with low toxicity to fish, a rapid superior residual effect and low toxicity to mean and animals. n PROCESS: A compound expressed by formula II is reacted with a compound expressed by formula III (X is halogen), to give a compound expressed by formula I. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio |
