titleOfInvention Novel oil free-polyester and its preparation
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain an oil-free polyester having improved solubility in an organic solvent and compatibility with a solvent-type resin composition, by introducing an aminosulfonic acid-type ampholytic ion group to the molecule. n CONSTITUTION: 0.05W50wt% (Preferably 0.5W30wt%) ampholytic ion compound, e.g., N-(2-hydroxyethyl)aminomethanesulfonic acid, etc., shown by the formula I (R 1 is 1W20C alkyl containing hydroxyl group, etc., R 2 and R 3 are H,1W20C alkyl, etc.; A is 1W6C alkylene, etc.) based on total reactive components is reacted with a polybasic acid compound, e.g., adipic acid, etc., polyhydric alcohol, e.g., ethylene glycol, etc., and/or oxysilane compound, e.g, phenyl glycidyl ether, etc. to give the desired oil-free polyester having an aminosulfonic acid type ampholytic ion group shown by the formula II and a molecular weight preferably ≤10,000. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
