titleOfInvention | Treatment of combustion exhaust gas |
abstract | PURPOSE: To attain the rationalization of facilities and the saving of energy by using part of exhaust gas after being desulfurization and removal of dust and for cooling a desulfurizing adsorbent to be subjected to the repeated cycles of adsorption, preheating, desorption, and cooling and using the desulfurized gas for the preheating. n CONSTITUTION: Exhaust gas is introduced from a line 1 into an adsorption process a, where sulfur oxides are removed by an adsorbent and clean gas is made. Part of the clean gas is introduced through a line 2 into a cooling process d. After the cooling, the gas is mixed with the said clean gas and then discharged through a line 3 to the outside. On the other hand, desorbed gas at approx. 500°C is introduced through a line 4 into a desorption process c, then into a preheating process b through line 5 to 7, where the adsorbent is preheated, and lastly into a sulfur recoverer or a gypsum manufacturing apparatus, etc., outside the system through lines 8 and 9. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio |
