PURPOSE: The titled resin composition with improved heat stability at a high temp, which is obtd. by incorporating a diphosphonite, a sterically hindered phenol compd. and an org. phosphite with a polyphenylene ether resin. n CONSTITUTION: Diphosphonite of the formula (wherein R 1 is 1W10C alkyl), a sterically hindered phenol compd. and an org. monophosphite and/or an org. polyphosphite are incorporated with a polyphenylene ether resin.
