abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the captioned sheet which is most suitable as a packing material such as card board, light-weight packing container, etc. and which has excellent physical and working properties such as vacuum forming, etc. by mixing olefin resin and inorganic filler, cross-linking agent, etc. into sheet forms and next, treating them at cross-linking temperature. n CONSTITUTION: A compound of 100pts.wt. of olefin resin (A), 40W120pts. of inorganic filler (B) (e.g. talc, clay, etc.), 0.6W2pts. of lubricant (C), 0.5W1pt. of silane coupling agent (D) (e.g. γ-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane, etc.), cross- linking agent (E) (e.g. dicumilperoxide, etc.) and, if necessary, 0W5pts. of cross- linking assistant and 0W30pts. of compatible resin is mixed and kneaded into sheets at less than a cross-linking temperature. Following this process, the said sheets are run through the furnace at the cross-linking temperature, so that the objective sheet reinforced by inter-resin cross-linking, is obtained. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
