abstract |
PURPOSE: To provide the titled formed article which is a matted product devoid of uneven luster and suitable for an automotive dashboard or the like by a method wherein a copolymer of vinyl chloride and polyethylene glycol di(meth)acrylate is mixed with a plasticizer at a specified ratio, the mixture is formed into a sheet and the sheet is vacuum formed. n CONSTITUTION: A composition consisting of (A) 100pts.wt. of the vinyl chloride based copolymer consisting of 99.0W99.5wt% of vinyl chloride and 1.0W0.05wt% of polyethylene glycol diacrylate or polyethylene glycol dimethacrylate containing 4W50 polymeric units of ethylene glycol per molecule and (B) 0W100pts.wt. of the plasticizer (for instance, butyl trimellitate, etc.) is formed into the sheet by calendaring or extrusion and then the sheet is vacuum formed to obtain the objective formed article. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio |
