abstract PURPOSE: A transparent polyethylene terephthalate film with sustained smooth surface and excellent slipperiness, which is prepared by compounding a specified additive. n CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. polyethylene terephthalate [one of intrinsic viscosity about 0,45W1 (at 35°C in a soln. of o-chlorophenol) is preferable, and about 60wt% or less polybutylen terephthalate may be used together] is compounded with 0.01W 2wt% montan wax (ester) salt (e.g., sodium montanate).
