abstract | PURPOSE:To prevent over heating to a cell by distributing more fiber component near both surfaces of a sheetlike heating element made of a heating agent component and inorganic monofibers and more heating agent near the center of the heating element. CONSTITUTION:Each sheetlike heating element 5 comprises a mixed heating agent component of metal powder such as zirconium or iron powder and oxidizing agent powder such as barium chromate or lithium perchlorate powder, and inorganic fibers such as Al2O3 or SiO2 of fibers about 3mum in diameter and 10mm. in length, in which more fibers are distributed near both surfaces thereof and more heating agent component near its center. For example, a pre-coat is prepared by the filteration of a suspension containing inorganic fibers and a thickner, a homogeneous suspension containing inorganic fibers and heating agent is frown on it, filtrated and dried to form a layer rich in the heating agent component and a layer abundant in the fiber component. Thus the over heating to the cell is prevented, the prescribed fabrication accuracy is attained, and its reliability can be improved. |
