abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a double-coated adhesive tape which has excellent tackiness, adhesive force, cohesive force, etc. and in which a less amount of an org. solvent is used, by a method wherein an emulsion pressure-sensitive adhesive is coated on a release liner and dried, and then a solvent type pressure-sensitive adhesive is coated thereon and dried. n CONSTITUTION: An emulsion pressure-sensitive adhesive contg. a reactive functional group such as carboxyl, amino or nitrile group, is coated on a release liner composed of a plastic sheet or paper, and is dried. Then a solvent type pressure- sensitive adhesive contg. a crosslinking component (e.g., diphenylmethane diisocyanate or a melamine resin) capable of reacting with the above functional group, is coated thereon and dried to produce the desired double-coated adhesive tape. The emulsion pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is plasticized by the solvent, and the tape has a structure in which the crosslinkage density will be increased toward the inside. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio |
