titleOfInvention Antistatic polyester fiber
abstract PURPOSE: The titled fiber, having improved antistatic properties with a small amount of an antistatic agent without the composite spinning method, and prepared by dispersing and mixing the antistatic agent in a highly dense state around the hollow part of a hollow fiber consisting of a single component. n CONSTITUTION: (A) A polyoxyalkylene glycol which is substantially unreactive to a polyester and has a molecular weight preferably ≥6,000 and (B) an ionic antistatic agent preferably expressed by the formula RSO 3 M (R is alkyl, aryl, etc.; M is alkali metal) are contained in a polyester fiber, consisting of a single component, preferably polyethylene terephthalate, and having a hollow part communicated in the long direction thereof and a percentage of hollowness ≤15%. The component (A) is dispersed in the hollow core part partly, preferably in an amount of 30wt% or more, in a high concentration. The amount of the polyoxyalkylene glycol (A) and the antistatic agent (B) is 3wt% or less, preferably 0.5W1.5wt%, based on the weight of the fiber. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
