abstract PURPOSE: The titled nontoxic composition useful as an adhesive, a paint, etc., which comprises a specified modified polyolefin resin and a polyolefin resin. n CONSTITUTION: A modified polyolefin resin is obtd. by mixing (a) 100pts.wt. polyolefin resin (e.g., PE or PP), (b) at least 0.005pts.wt. radical generator (e.g., dicumyl peroxide) and (c) 0.1W20pts.wt. liquid rubber having at least one functinal group having an inside group of formula I or II (wherein R 1 , R 3 and R 4 are H, halogen or 1W3C hydrocarbon residue; R 2 is a 1W20C hydrocarbon residue which may contain N; X is H or a bond to a liquid rubber chain; Y is a bond to a liquid rubber chain), derived from an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid (deriv.) in one molecule, at 150W300°C.
