titleOfInvention | Quantitative determination of hydrogen peroxide |
abstract | PURPOSE: To determine quantitatively hydrogen peroxide by colorimetry using a luminescence system having high sensitivity and improved coloring stability, by reacting hydrogen peroxide with 4-aminoantipyrine and an aniline derivative in the presence of peroxidase. n CONSTITUTION: Hydrogen peroxide is reacted with 4-aminoantipyrine and an aniline derivative shown by the formula [R 1 and R 2 are C n H 2n NHSO 2 .R (n is 2W4; R is hydroxyl, straight-chain or branched chain 1W5C alkyl, or phenyl;), R 3 and R 4 are H, alkyl, or alkoxyalkyl] in the presence of peroxidase. N-Ethyl-N-(β-methylsulfonamidoethyl)-m-toluidine, etc. may be cited as the N-substituted aniline derivative used. By the use of the above-mentioned method, hydrogen peroxide, which is produced by reacting not only glycose or cholesterol in serum but also uric acid relatively in low concentration in humors with uricase, can be introduced to luminescence system in high sensitiveness, to measure uric acid in serum easily. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio |
