PURPOSE: To provide the titled resin compsn. which produces a foamed molded article having excellent dimensional stability, surface smoothness, etc., by incorporating a specified compd. into a thermoplastic synthetic resin, said compd. inhibiting the escaping of a blowing agent gas from the resin foam. n CONSTITUTION: 0.1W10wt% (based on the amount of resin) at least one compd. of the formula R 1 -X-R 2 (wherein R 1 , R 2 are each 3W24C aliph. hydrocarbon group with the proviso that at least one of R 1 , R 2 is 10C or higher aliph. hydrocarbon group; X is -COO-, -COS-, -COOCO-, -S-, -O-) is incorporated into a thermoplastic synthetic resin such as a polyolefin resin to obtain the titled resin compsn. The compds of the formula inhibit the escaping of a flowing agent gas from a foam, and thus improve the efficiency of the blowing agent gas and prevent the shrinkage of the foam.
