titleOfInvention | Electrophotographic receptor |
abstract | PURPOSE:To enhance the endurance, heat, moisture and solvent resistances, etc. of a receptor by adding a photoconductive material to a resin synthesized by the polycondensation of a monomer having a phenoxaphosphine ring and bisphenols to form a photoconductive layer. CONSTITUTION:To a 100pts.wt. inorg. or org. photoconductor is added 0.5- 50pts.wt. P-contg. polyestr with about 10,000-40,000mol.wt. obtd. by the polycodensation of a compound having a phenoxaphosphine ring, e.g., the compound of formula I, II or III and biasphenols. They are mixed, kneaded to 600cps viscosity in HCCl3, applied to an electrically conductive support, and dried to form a photoconductive layer. On the layer an insulating layer is formed with epoxy resin or the like to manufacture a receptor. The P-contg. polyester is not dissolved in or deformed by a solvent for forming the insulating layer, and the photoconductive layer is not deformed or softened by heating to about 100+ or -50 deg.C and undergoes little change in the electrical characteristics even at high humidity. |
