| abstract | PURPOSE: To form the high strength molding material with easy handling property, by using a specific liquid crosslinking agent as one component of said crosslinking agent in the molding material (a dry premix) prepared by compounding a crosslinking agent, a filler or the like in an unsaturated polyester resin and forming the resulting compound into a flakelike or a particulate form. n CONSTITUTION: A liquid crosslinking agent [a styrene monomer, a methyl (meth) acrylate monomer or the like] with a viscosity (25°C) of 1 centipoise or less is compounded as one component of said crosslinking agent in an amount of 0.2W1wt% against a total amount of the dry premix. That is, (A) an unsaturated polyester with an acid value of about 30 or less and a softening point of about 70W110°C, (B) a crosslinking agent (e.g.; diallyl phthalate prepolymer) solid at a room temp. and the above described liquid crosslinking agent, (C) a filler (e.g.; calcium carbonate) and/or a reinforcing fiber (e.g.; a glass fiber) and (D) a curing catalyst (e.g.; tert-butyl perbenzoate) are kneaded under heating and molded into a flakelike or a particulate form. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio |
