titleOfInvention | Preparation of hollow fiber from cellulosic derivative |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a hollow fiber useful for an artificial kidney, etc., having sharp molecular weight fractionation characteristics and a high water permeation rate, by extruding a spinning solution consisting of a cellulosic derivative, an inorganic metallic salt and a nonvolatile organic solvent in a specific composition through an annular spinning hole, and coagulating the extruded solution. n CONSTITUTION: A spinning solution consisting of (A) 10W20wt%, based on the spinning solution, cellulosic derivative, e.g. cellulose acetate, (B) 0.1W20wt%, based on the spinning solution, inorganic metallic salt, e.g. zinc chloride, and (C) a solvent which dissolves them and consists of a nonvolatile organic solvent, e.g. dimethylformamide, is extruded through an annular spinning hole, and an inner coagulating solution having a coagulating action on the spinning solution is extruded through the center of the annular spinning hole simultaneously to coagulate the spinning solution in a coagulating bath and give the aimed hollow fiber. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio |
