titleOfInvention Manufacture of cap and crown cap attached with foamy polyethylene liner
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the titled liner having high safety uniformly and without deformation by a method wherein a foamy polyethylene resin, etc. are melted and extruded into an inside of a crown cap and after it is molded into a liner type it is heated and is made to foam and then, a molding is performed with a cooling molding punch. CONSTITUTION:A blowing agent is mixed in poly ethylene resin such as PE resin, ethylene-vinyl copolymer acetate, ethylene-copolymer acrylate, ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer, etc. and first, it is melted and extruded at or less than a decomposition temperature of the blowing agent to be supplied to inner surfaces 1 of crown caps and caps. Next thereto, it is molded into a required liner type 6a through a cooled molding punch and thereafter, the blowing agent is decomposed by heating the crown cap 1 attached with a liner to form a liner 6b of an independent foamy sponge body. And thereafter, the liner is molded once more through the cooled molding punch and a required type intended crown caps, and caps attached with liners are obtained. With this, a PE liner having an excellent sealing quality and replaced with a poisonous PVC liner can be obtained.
