titleOfInvention Organic phosphate derivative, fungicide, insecticide, acaricide, and nematocide comprising it
abstract NEW MATERIAL:An organic phosphate derivative shown by the formula I (R is methyl or ethyl). n EXAMPLE: O-(4-Bromo-2-chlorophenyl)O-ethyl S-secondary-butyl phosphoro thioate. n USE: A fungicide, insecticide, acaricide, and nematocide. Having high controlling effects against various noxious insects, acarids, sanitary noxious insects, nematodes, damaging agricultural and gardening crops, and blast of rice plane. Having no phytotoxicity to various farm products. n PROCESS: An O-alkyl S-secondary-butylthiol phosphoric acid halide shown by the formula II (X is halogen) is reacted with 4-bromo 2-chlorophenol shown by the formula III in the presence of a base (dehydrohalogenating agent) in a solvent, e.g., benzene, etc. at -5W100°C for 1W6hr, to give a compound shown by the formula I. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
