titleOfInvention | Aromatic polyamide composition |
abstract | PURPOSE: Titled composition, excellent in dyeability and heat resistance, which comprises a poly-m-phenyleneisophthalamide and a polymer of a vinyl derivative of a heterocyclic compound. n CONSTITUTION: An aromatic polyamide composition is obtained, by blending 97W 40wt% of poly-m-phenylene-isophthalamide (A) with 3W60wt% of a polyer (B) of a vinyl derivative of a heterocyclic compound such as a polyvinylcarbozole or polyvinylcaprolactam. To produce a molded product from the composition, it is dissolved in a basic amide solvent such as N,N'-dimethylformamide or N-methyl-2- pyrrolidone, and extruded into a fiber, film, etc., which is then stretched 1.5W5.0 times and subjected to stretch heat treatment or heat stretching at a temperature ≥280°C. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio |
