| abstract | PURPOSE: To prepare a plaster free from sagging with age and giving cool and refreshing feeling to the skin, by coating a flexible substrate with a drug-containing layer obtained by adding a specific epoxy compound, etc. to a polyacrylic acid. n CONSTITUTION: The objective plaster is prepared by coating a flexible substrate with a drug-containing hydrous gel layer composed mainly of a polyacrylic acid and/or its salt, water, a polyhydric alcohol, a compound having at least two epoxy groups (e.g. triglycidyl isocyanurate), an organic acid (e.g. citric acid) and an effective component (e.g. ethylene glycol salicylate, menthol, etc.).
