titleOfInvention Sheet for shoji paper and decorative paper
abstract PURPOSE: To provide a sheet for durable decorative and "shoji" paper with good permeability for moisture and gas by coating solution consisting of nylon, methanol, and metal salt on a porous substrate. n CONSTITUTION: A solution consisting of nylon, methanol, and metal salt is coated on a porous substrate. Porous substrates being applied include paper, non-woven cloth, cloth, porous film, and metal net. Nylon such as 6-nylon, and 6,6-nylon is preferably used. The thickness of "shoji" paper or decorative paper differs depending on the purpose of application; generally, 1W5μ, preferably 500W25μ. Sometimes, nylon needs stabilization treatment by employing stabilizer such as cuprous chloride in amount of 0.1W10wt% of nylon resin. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
