abstract | PURPOSE: To produce rigid urethane foam which has excellent adhesive strength against the adherend surface and is suited for use in spray foaming, by mixing org. polyisocyanate with specified active hydrogen-contg. cpd. and blowing agent, and foaming the mixt. n CONSTITUTION: Polyol compsn. consisting of active hydrogen-contg. cpd. (consisting of 5W100wt% of prim. and/or sec. amino gp contg. amine cpd. in the form of salt having prim. or sec. amine value above 20, total amine value of 20W1500 and hydroxyl value of 300W1070 and 95W0wt% of polyol having hydroxyl value above 300), blowing agent such as water or trichloroethane, 0.2W2wt% of maleate catalyst of formula I or II (wherein R 1 , R 2 , R 3 , R 4 are alkyl; m≥1), foam stabilizer, flame retardant, etc., is mixed with org. polyisocyanate in a proportion of NCO/OH of 1.5W20 to produce foam stock solution.
