abstract | PURPOSE:To miniaturize circuit constitution by exercising phase control over a carrier and control over a sampling time position in common. CONSTITUTION:After a television signal is VSB-formed by VSBF filter, a carrier phase-synchronizing with carrier pilots is regenerated from the television signal by carrier phase-synchronous oscillator CPLO. The regenerated carrier is controlled into the best phase by automatic phase control part CAPC and demodulated by demodulator DEM, and receiving low-pass filter RLF extracts only a required base- band television signal. By the demodulated base-band television signal, horizontal synchronizing-signal extraction part HDET separates only a horizontal synchronizing signal and a timing pulse phase-synchronizing with this horizontal signal is regenerated by timing phase-synchronous oscillator TPLO. Then, after the regenerated timing pulse is controlled into the best phase by automatic timing phase control part TAPC, clock generating part PG generates various clocks needed for discrimination and automatic waveform equalization. |
