titleOfInvention Production of compound eye lens device
abstract PURPOSE:To readily produce the compound eye lens device by using a plurality of transparent bars and curable resins, with respect to the lens used for the projection lens of the copying machine. CONSTITUTION:A support 113 which is formed by a metal plate of aluminum or the like, is hollow and is opened with through-holes of nearly the bar lens diameter in the lens disposition positions of the top and bottom surfaces, a plurality of transparent bars 119 composed of acrylic resin, epoxy-base resin, polycarbonate or styrene and the curable resin 118 of acrylic or epoxy mixed with balck pigments or dyes, are prepared. After a plurality of the transparent bars 119 are inserted into the lens support 113 and are arrayed in the specified direction, the curable resin 118 is packed in the spacings of the lens support 113 to integrate these, after which the integral unit is compression-molded by using the upper and lower dies 120, 120' in which the concave spherical faces having the curvatures of the 1st end faces and 2nd faces of bar lenses are arrayed in the disposition positions of the respective bar lenses, whereby the bar lens end faces are formed on the top and bottom surfaces of the transparent bars 119.
