titleOfInvention | Preparation of unsoluble chitin derivative |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain unsoluble chitin derivative which is biologically and chemically stable as well as safe and has excellent substance permeability, adsorbability and biological adaptability by treating soluble chitin derivative with an organic acid anhydride. n CONSTITUTION: A soluble chitin derivative such as N-deacetylated product of carboxymethylchitin or carboxymethylchitin salt is reacted with an organic acid anhydride alone or a mixture of an organic acid and an organic acid anhydride. As an organic acid or anhydride, acetic acid, propionic acid, butyric acid, valeric acid or the like or anhydride thereof are preferably used. The N-deacetylation degree of above-described soluble chitin derivative is 10W100%, preferably 20W60%. Carboxymethylchitin or salt thereof have 0.1W1.0, preferably 0.3W1.0 carboxymethyl group per one N-acetylglucosane unit which is a unit structure. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio |
