titleOfInvention Laminating film on glass plate
abstract PURPOSE: To laminate a film on a glass plate without causing damage to the glass plate by a method wherein the glass plate and film are supplied between a pair of press rollers having a specified hardness, with a specified contact angle to the surface of rollers and a specified average pressure to the glass surface. n CONSTITUTION: A pair of press rollers 1, 1' having rubber coat 1a, 1a' with hardness 60W90° are rotated in the arrow direction. A glass plate 2 and a film 3 coated with adhesive 4 are supplied between the rollers with contact angle θ of 100° or more to the roller 1. The average pressure of the rollers 1, 1' against the plate 2 surface is specified to 10W0.01kg/cm 2 , preferably 1.0W0.05kg/cm 2 , and the plate 2 and film 3 are laminated. The plate 2 used is transparent. The film 3 used is an organic high polymer film such as polyester film having metal layer such as gold, silver, etc., metal oxide such as In 2 O 3 , etc. in the form of either a single film or combined lamination so that visible ray can be transmitted. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
