titleOfInvention Composition for oral cavity
abstract PURPOSE:A composition for oral cavity that is made by adding a propellant to a specific paste, changing the mixture in aerosol vessels to form a foaming paste, thus showing good handlability, good feeling when used, and high efficiency in mouth washing when used as tooth paste or gargle. CONSTITUTION:A paste composition containing an abrasive, binder, viscous agent, surfactant and water an the major components is combined with a propellant that vaporize at normal pressure and temperature and the mixture is filled in aerosol vessels, wherein the viscosity of the paste is adjusted to 20-400 poise so that it foams when sprayed from the vessel to 1.5-6 times the original volume. The propellant is preferably carbon dioxide in the respect of safety. The paste composition preferably comprises 10-45wt% of abrasive, 0.2-5wt% of binder, 5-30wt% of viscous agent and 0.5-5wt% of a surfactant. It gives good feeling when used, readily spreads in the mouth and readily disperses in water, thus readily being used as both tooth paste and gargle.
