titleOfInvention Copolyamide fiber
abstract PURPOSE: An aliphatic and aromatic copolyamide fiber that is prepared by copolymerization of the terephtalamide units and aliphatic amide units with specific structures, thus having high dimensional stability when wetted, high initial modulus and strength. n CONSTITUTION: Said aliphatic and aromatic copolyamide that is composed of the bis-(p-carboxyphenyl)terephthalamide units of formula I (Al 1 is divalent aliphatic group) and the aliphatic amide units of formula II or III (Al 2 , Al 3 are divalent aliphatic groups). In the composition of these recurring units, the content of the units of formula I is preferably 3W70wt%. The copolyamide is obtained by heating the mixture of equimolar amounts of bis-(p-carboxyphenyl)terephthalamide and hexamethylenediamine together with nylon 66 salt at 240W320°C and 0W30 atmospheric pressure and further at a temperature lower than 320°C. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
