titleOfInvention Preparation of inorganic fine particle slurry for mixing polyester
abstract PURPOSE: To provide an inorganic fine particle slurry having good handling properties and no concentration fluctuation by adding special compound to the inorganic fine particle slurry to thereby lower the viscosity of the slurry, removing rough particles therefrom and then mixing bifunctional carboxylic acid therewith to obtain a special viscosity thereof. n CONSTITUTION: 0.01W2wt% An alkaline metal compound such as NaOH and NaCO 3 and/or an organic amine compound having b.p. of lower than 200°C such as triethylamine and n-amylamine are added to a glycol and/or aqueous slurry having 500W1500cps of viscosity and inorganic fine particles including lower than 5μ of means particle diameter and containing one or more components selected from Al 2 O 3 , CaO, BaO, etc. to thereby reduce the slurry viscosity to 200cps or less so as to remove rough particles in the slurry. Then, bifunctional carboxylic acid such as therephthalic acid and sebacic acid is mixed with this slurry to thereby adjust the viscosity between 200 and 2,000cps. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
