titleOfInvention | Method of fabricating piezo-electric porcelain material |
abstract | PURPOSE: To improve the reaction of the components in a piezo-electric porcelain material at its calcining time by containing 0.01∼0.5 by weight of percent of chlorine in stock powders such as lead titanate and lead zirconate or these titanate and zirconate and magnesium lead niobate as main constituents when fabricating the piezo-electric porcelain material containing the main constituents. n CONSTITUTION: Stock materials of lead nitrate, titanium tetraisopropoxide, zirconyl nitrate, oxy-zirconium chloride, magnesium nitrate and niobium oxalate, etc. in high purity reagents are weighed to produce a composition of 0.437PbTiO 3 +0.050 PbZrO 3 +0.063Pb(Mg 1/3 , Nb 2/3 )O 3 . Then, this composition is dissolved in water and ethyl alcohol, and solvents are removed by a refrigration drying machine and reacted at 700∼900°C for 2 hours. At this time the amount of the chlorine is controlled in combination of the zirconium nitrate and oxy-zirconium chloride, and 0.01∼0.5 by weight of percent of chlorine is existed in the mixture powder after the solvents are removed. Thus, there is obtained a piezo-electric porcelain material having superior dielectric constant and electromechanical coupling coefficient. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio |
