titleOfInvention Testing method of relay
abstract PURPOSE: To accomplish an accurate and quick teat and judgement of the results by adding a gradually increasing or decreasing voltage in automatic test of a working value and an opening value of an electromagnetic relay. n CONSTITUTION: During the period A of testing an action of a working value PI of a relay, the minimum working voltage PI min and a gradually increasing voltage are added to be applied to the relay and with the working of the relay, the working value PI max is collected. Then, after the excitation of the rated voltage for a certain space of time during the rated excitation period B, a voltage DO max equivalent to addition of the gradually decreased voltage and the opening voltage is applied to the voltage so that an opening voltage DO min is collected with the opening of the relay. With such an arrangement, the contact signal of the relay controls the test thereby automatizing thereof and improving the capacity thereof. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
