PURPOSE:To obtain a subject molded product having an impermeable resin layer on a surface thereof, by covering a surface of a foam molded product made of improved polystyrene beads with a fibre-made mat, by filling a mold, wherein the work placed, with vinyl monomer solution of unsaturated alkyd, and by hardening it therein. CONSTITUTION:A foam molded product is made of improved polystyrene beads being obtained as a result of a compound, which contains 100 parts by weight of styrene monomer and 10-400 parts by weight of polyethylene particles, being polymerized. The foam molded product is placed in a mold, which can be sealed, in such a condition as covers the whole or a part of the surface of the foam molded product with a fibremade mat. The mold is filled with vinyl monomer solution of unsaturated slkyd which is hardened therein, a fibre reinforced unsaturated polyester rein layer, thus, being formed on the surface of the foam molded product. |
