PURPOSE: A phthalocyanine derivative is combined when a thermoplastic resin is colored with carbon black, thus removing the reddish tint that is characteristic in carbon black. n CONSTITUTION: When a thermoplastic resin as polyethylene terephthalate, ABS resin is colored with carbon black, a phthalocyanine derivative of formula I and II (MePc is residue of metal phthalocyanine; R 1 , R 3 are H, alkyl; R 2 , R 4 are alkyl, alkoxyalkyl; l=1W4, m=0W3, n=1W4, m+n=1W4) is combined in an amount of 2W50wt% based on the carbon black. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio |
