titleOfInvention | Coating consisting of polyester |
abstract | PURPOSE: Polyalkylene naphthalate is made to react with oligomers of aliphatic dicarboxylic bisglycol ester or a mixture thereof with a glycol, thus giving title coating that has high heat resistance and is soluble in an organic solvent. n CONSTITUTION: Said polyester coating is made by reacting (A) a mixture of (a) an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid or ester-forming derivative and (b) less than 5mole, per mole of component a, of a glycol or its ester-forming derivative, and/or (B) oligomers of bisglycol ester resulting from reaction between components a and b with (C) polyalkylene naphthalate, in which the amount of the aliphatic dicarboxylic acid in the polyester is 10W50mole% on the basis of the total carboxylic acids, thus giving the softening point of 120W190°C. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio |
