titleOfInvention | Polybutadiene derivative |
abstract | PURPOSE: To prepare a polybutadiene derivative useful as cold-curing sealants and giving a cured product having improved weather resistance and water resistance, by reacting a polyhydroxypolybutadiene having a specific molecular weight and a hydrogenation degree with an acrylic acid compound, and adding a silane hydride to the product. n CONSTITUTION: (A) polyhydroxypolybutadiene having a weight average molecular weight of 350W49,500 is hydrogenated to attain a hydrogenation degree of ≥80%. The product is reacted with (B) an acrylic acid compound I (R is H or alkyl; Y is hydroxyl, alkoxy or halogen). The esterified product is addition-reacted with a silane hydride II (X 1 WX 3 are alkoxy, carboxy or halogen) to give a polybutadiene derivative having a weight average molecular weight of 500W50,000, wherein one or more hydrogen atoms of hydroxyl groups are replaced by organosilicon groups III. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio |
