titleOfInvention | 3-aminohexahydroazepin and polyamide derived therefrom |
abstract | PURPOSE: To prepare a novel polyamide having cyclic recurring units, and useful as a heat-resistant polymer or a functional polymer, by using 3-aminohexahydroazepin as a diamine component. n CONSTITUTION: To prepara a polyamide having a recurring unit of formula II (R is difunctional organic group), by the polycondensation reaction of a diamine component comprising 3-aminohexahydroazepin of formula I with, e.g. a difunctional acid chloride (e.g. an acid chloride obtained from isophthalic acid and thionly chloride). 3-Aminohexahydroazepin I is obtained, e.g. by the reduction of α-amino- ε-caprolactam. n USE: A film-forming, heat-stable polymer. Semipermeable membrane. A water-soluble printing material (polyamide with DGC). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio |
