titleOfInvention Manufacturing polystyrene series resin foamed sheet
abstract PURPOSE:To avoid deficiencies of ununiform thickness and easy separation of adhered internal portions by using jointly two kinds of specified foaming agent, in obtaining a sheet body by pressing and pinching a tubular foamed body extruded from a circular die. CONSTITUTION:Foaming polystyrene series resin containing a foaming agent consisting of a mixture of 30-90mol% of a volatile foaming agent having a solubility parameter (SP) of 7.0-8.0 (for example: n-pentane, trichlorotrifluoroethane, trichlorofluoromethane) and 70-10mol% of a volatile foaming agent having an SP of 6.0-7.0 (for example: dichlorodifluoromethane, propane, n-butane), is heated and melted in an extruder and is extruded from a circular die, and the internal surface of which is melted and adhered by pressing under pinching while the tubular foamed body is still in softened condition. The tubular body is pressed under pinching by a pinch-roll having a narrower width than that of a sheet body to be obtained, and the internal pressure thereof may be adjusted at both of rim portions of the sheet.
