titleOfInvention Photographic element for color diffusion transfer method
abstract PURPOSE: To improve temperature compensating function, adhesiveness to adjoining layers, etc. by forming the timing layer of the photographic element for color diffusion transfer having a neutralizing system composed of a neturalizing layer and a timing layer by the polymer latex which is emulsion-polymerized in the presence of transition metal compounds. n CONSTITUTION: The timing layer of the neutralization system of the photographic element for color diffusion transfer method is formed by the polymer latex which is obtainable by mutually emulsion-polymerizing one kind of polymerizable ethylenic unsaturated monomers having free carboxylic acid groups or phosphoric acid groups and one kind of other ethylenic monomers copolymerizable with this in the presence of transition metal compounds by using a redox base polymerization initiator. A typical embodiment of the polymer latex is the polymer comprising emulsion-polymerizing monomers such as glycidyl acrylate, acrylic acid or methyl acrylate in the presence of coper sulfate, sodium bisulfite, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
