titleOfInvention Production of porous film of vinylidene fluoride resin
abstract PURPOSE: A dope consisting of a resin, solvent, dispersing solvent and surfactant is casted into films, which are dipped in a nonsolvent to produce title porous film useful as films for artificial organs because of its high flux, permselectivity and sharp pore-diameter distribution. n CONSTITUTION: A dope consisting of a vinylidene fluoride resin, solvent as dimethylformamide, dispersing solvent as dioxane and surfactant as polyoxyethylene- sorbitan monooleate is casted into films using doctor blades. The resulting films are dipped in a nonsolvent as water to remove the solvent, dispersing solvent and surfactant to give the objective films. The concentration of resin in the dope is preferably 5W30wt%. n USE: Films for artificial organs as artificial lung, electrolysis diaphragm, film for isolating and purifying proteins and for disposing waste water. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
