PURPOSE: Title composition that contains a specific liquid peroxide as the crosslinking agent, thus facilitating to mix the crosslinking agent with the polymer in the extruder and giving foamed products with uniformity. n CONSTITUTION: Said composition comprises (A) a high-molecular-weight polymer, preferably polyethylene resin, (B) a liquid peroxide of the formula (R is 1W3C alkyl) or a mixture thereof with dicumyl peroxide as a crosslinking agent, and (C) a foaming agent, wherein the amounts of components B and C are 0.5W5 and 1W15 parts per 100 parts of component A respectively.
