titleOfInvention Stabilization of active vitamin d3 derivative
abstract PURPOSE: To stabilize an active vitamin D 3 selected from hydroxycholecalciferols, to heat, light, oxygen, etc., by reacting with cholic acid derivatives such as deoxycholic acid, apocholic acid, cholic acid, etc. n CONSTITUTION: An active vitamin D 3 derivative selected from hydroxycholecalciferols of formula (R 1W3 are H or OH, provided that at least one of the R 1W3 is OH) is stabilized by reacting with a cholic acid derivative selected from deoxycholic acid, apocholic acid, cholic acid, and their salts. The reaction product is supposed to form a clathrate compound wherein the vitamin D 3 derivative is the guest compound and the cholic acid derivative is the host compound. The stabilized compound is used as a component of drugs stable to heat, light, oxygen, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
