titleOfInvention Fermented feed
abstract PURPOSE: To detoxify ammonia, by treating an edible animal source with ammonia to prevent the putrefaction, and by fermenting the resulting material. n CONSTITUTION: Fishes and their wastes after utilization for food are finely divided, and aqueous ammonia is added and kneaded to a pH of 10W11, and stored at a low temperature for a long time. A mixture of finely divided brown coal and wastes after utilization for food and seed fungi are added and heated to 50°C, and then fermented in the solid phase at 40W70°C, usually 40W60°C by the autogeneous fermentation heat while evaporating the moisture to give a dry fermentation product. The product is incorporated with another feed to give a feed. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
