abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a membrane with good exygen permeability and high oxygen permeating quantity by forming polyester containing a framework of oxyisophtalic acid derivative having a specific structure as a dicarboxylic acid component. n CONSTITUTION: A membrane formed from the polyester containing oxyisophtalic acid derivative of the formula I, wherein R is 4W30C alkyl group, at an amount of more than 25mol%, preferably more than 30mol% of the total dicarboxylic acid component is use as a gas separating selective permeable membrane. The oxygen permeating quantity of this membrane mesured at 25°C is at least 5×10 -11 cc (s+p) cm/cm 2 .sec.cm Hg and this membrane permeates a large amount of oxgen and has excellent oxygen permeability. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
