titleOfInvention | Preventive against blight and fly that contains nitrided silicon hydrochloride |
abstract | PURPOSE: To new type preventive against blight and fly for agricultural and horticultural applications that contains a nitrided silicon hydrochloride resulting from treating a silicon hydrochloride with hydrazine as an effective ingredient, thus strengthening the resistance of the plants to blight, repelling the harmful insects and killing the insects. n CONSTITUTION: A silicon chloride selected from silicon tetra-octa chlorides is previously brought into contact with the air. To the product are added 2% or more amounts of gaseous hydrogen chloride and hydrogen and the reaction with hydrogen is effected at a temperature over 200°C, preferably 200W700°C to give a liquid silicon hydrochloride. Then, usually the silicon hydrochloride is dissolved in water and hydrazine is made to react with the aqueous solution at room temperature, then the reaction mixture is neutralized with an alkali to give a nitrided silicon hydrochloride, which is used as the effective ingredient to form said preventive. Said preventive kills harmful insects, strengthens the resistance of the plants to the blights by diffusing into the body of the plants and repells the harmful insects by impregnating into the insect bodies. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio |
