titleOfInvention Method of fabricating plug contacting unit
abstract PURPOSE: To use a male mold made of silicon rubber thereby to lower the cost for mold. n CONSTITUTION: By utilizing the property of an epoxy resin to harden at normal temperature and under ordinary pressure the plug contacting unit is formed at cheap cost by pouring method without using injection molding method by which the mold costs high. The forming mold is constituted by a silicon mold 9 provided with a recession, and a core 11 having a holding hole 10 in which contact springs 6 are inserted at intervals in which the plug contact unit is constituted. The dimension of the inner surface of the recession is constituted to be equal to the outer configuration of the plug contact unit main body 7, and a mixture solution consisting of an epoxy resin and a hardening agent is poured in the mold so that it becomes horizontal with the uppermost part 9' of the mold, and is hardened at room temperature and under normal pressure. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
