titleOfInvention Fat emulsion for intravenous injection
abstract PURPOSE: The title fat emulsion having a strong emulsifying power, free from hemolysis action, comprising fats and oils, water, and an emulsifying agent with a specific degree of hydrogenation which is a refined vegetable phospholipid containing a specific amount of glycolipid. n CONSTITUTION: A fat emulsion comprising (A) fats and oils, (B) water, and (C) an emulsifying agent which is a refined vegetable phospholipid containing 0W5% of glycolipid having a degree of hydrogenation of 30W50, preferably 35W45, expressed as an iodine value. C is obtained by collecting the phosphatidylcholine-containing fraction, partial hydrogenation (preparation of a phospholipid having a specific iodine value), and by removing the glycolipid. The emulsion has no side effects of anemia, etc., accumulation, and residual effects on the pancreas, and is free from remaining of lipid in blood after administration. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
