PURPOSE: To prepare the title composition having excellent long-term storage stability, and giving a coating film having excellent physical properties, by dispersing fine powder of a polybasic carboxylic acid (anhydride) in a specific copolymer solution. n CONSTITUTION: The objective coating composition is prepared by dispersing (A) fine powder of a polybasic carboxylic acid (anhydride), e.g. succinic acid, in (B) a solution of a copolymer obtained by the copolymerization of a vinyl monomer mixture composed of (a) 1W20wt% of a nitrogen-containing vinyl monomer such as acrylamide, (b) 5W45wt% of a glycidyl-containing vinyl monomer such as glycidyl acrylate, and (c) the remaining part of a copolymerizable monomer such as methyl methacrylate, and if necessary, adding (C) a colorant, a binder, a plasticizer, etc. to the dispersion. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio |
