NEW MATERIAL:A pyran derivative of formula I or its salt (R 1 , 4 are 1W6C alkyl; R 2 and R 3 together with the N atom to which they are attached form a saturated hetero ring which may contain other hetero atoms such as N and O). n EXAMPLE: 6-Ethyl-2-methoxy-4-piperazinomethyl-5-oxo-5,6-dihydro-2H-pyran. n USE: Microbicide, insecticide and miticide, especially for agricultural and horticultural use. n PROCESS: The compound I is prepared by reacting 1mol of a compound II with (pref. ≥1mol of) HCHO and (pref. ≥1mol of) a compound III in a solvent such as methanol, at a temperature between 0 and 50°C, pref. at room temperature. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio |
